NEWS!!!!
A great new review from a happy parent.
Simon is truly the swim smith, sensational! We have a group session to include our two children; one being quite severely autistic and the other totally neurotypical. Simon tailors his teaching to relax them both whilst also encouraging each to keep improving their swimming abilities. This is no small feat since one is completely non verbal and doesn’t always understand. To be able to teach both in the small pool at the same time is just simply wonderful and a huge relief for us a parents since it’s been such a challenge to find anyone to help accommodate our autistic sons needs without the determent of the neurotypical sibling. There’s never any judgement if one our kids are having an off day (or perhaps a freak out/meltdown) Simon and Jo completely get it and because of this both Simon and Jo give off such a peaceful and nurturing energy that we just couldn’t be without them now. They have taught both children to trust themselves in the water, lose that fear and even starting to swim without their swimming vests! We are so happy with our children’s progress and so grateful to have the lessons with Simon, he truly has made a huge difference and look forward to future lessons with him!

Look out English Channel- Here we come
Tide and weather permitting, on or around the 10th July 2025 I will be completing a solo 21 miles’ish swim across the English Channel to raise funds for Autism East Midlands.
Although this is my swim, I have an incredible team of people supporting me who I will never be able to thank enough.
I have chosen the Autism East Midlands Charity as I have been teaching SEN and SEND children to swim now for over a year and I want to give back a little for the joy they have given me during these lessons.
Should you wish to make a donation to this incredibly worthy cause I would be very grateful if you could click on the link below.
